Presto Labs, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Presto mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, authentication is handled through our third-party provider, Privy. Depending on the authentication method you choose, Privy may collect your email address, phone number, or social login identifiers. We receive a limited set of account information from Privy necessary to provide you with access to the App.

Usage Data

We may collect information about how you interact with the App, including the features you use, the actions you take, timestamps of activity, and performance metrics. This data helps us improve the App and diagnose technical issues.

Device Information

We may collect information about the device you use to access the App, including device type, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and general network information.

What We Do NOT Collect

Presto is a non-custodial wallet. We do not collect, store, or have access to your private keys, recovery phrases, wallet passwords, or the contents of your wallet. Your private keys are generated and stored exclusively on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features.
To authenticate your identity and provide secure access to your account.
To improve, personalize, and optimize the App experience.
To monitor and analyze usage trends, performance, and reliability.
To communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support matters.
To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Third-Party Services

Authentication

We use Privy to handle user authentication. When you sign in, Privy processes your authentication credentials according to their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review Privy's privacy policy to understand how they handle your data.

Blockchain Transactions

The App interacts with the Tempo blockchain, which is a public, decentralized network. Any transactions you submit through the App are recorded on the blockchain and are publicly visible. This includes wallet addresses, transaction amounts, and timestamps. We have no control over information that is recorded on the blockchain, and such information cannot be deleted or modified once submitted.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and your private keys and recovery phrase.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. We may also retain certain information as required by law, to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or for legitimate business purposes. When your information is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it in accordance with our data retention practices.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information provided below.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Access — You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction — You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
Deletion — You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
